Late Night Conversations

When Alex and I first moved out, we would stay up in bed til 12 or 1AM just talking about random things.

Late night conversations we're literally my favorite part of our days.

We would talk about what we would do if we hit the lotto, what we plan on achieving that week and even on what we thought we would be like if we were parents.

With Madison (who sleeps in our bed in between us), it's just a tad bit harder to have those nights. I know, I know, that's our fault for having her in our bed but Sunday night she was so exhausted that Alex and I were finally able to have another one of those nights.

I'm not sure if it made me miss those talks even more or appreciate the fact that I was even lucky enough to have one. Whichever way, it was still special.

Our conversations have definitely changed, yesterday, we spoke about how cute Madison is, about how we don't know if we can go through the grueling, yet rewarding journey of having another baby and how lucky we are to have such amazing family and friends who help us everyday.

Although these topics aren't as fascinating for some of you as much as they are for us, it helps us keep our communication up.

We might not have these talks everyday, week or even month but when we do, it's phenomenal.

What do you and your significant other do to keep your communication intact ? Comment below!
