Usually for Thanksgiving, we have three houses to attend lunch/dinner for. We go to my grandmas for lunch with my moms side of the family, then we have dinner with my dads side of the family at my aunts and an extra dinner with Alex's family later on in the evening.
This year, we only attended two houses as my grandma didn't have a lunch this year (but she did join us at my aunts for dinner). All of my moms siblings and their children (my cousins) live elsewhere so it's a bit harder to get everyone together every single year.
Which, I have to say i'm not mad about at all, it was a nice break for us this year.
Last year Madison could barely nap due to the constant go of each house we had to attend (not that this year is any better due to her protesting nap times lately). She was literally asleep the entire time at my aunts until we left, which is when she was greeted with M&Ms in exchange for kisses, hugs and high fives.
After that good two hour nap and filled with chocolate, she was energized for Alex's moms house where she was running, dancing and playing all over the place with her Tia Vicky while we all got to eat, drink and talk.
I have to say, I'm so thankful for my family, my friends and even my subscribers/followers. It's been an amazing year full of adventure, new experiences and meeting many new people.
Here are a few pictures from our Thanksgiving:
*Please forgive the quality, my camera lens broke && I had to use the phone with a very hyper child.
