Super Bowl Sunday Recipe - Southwest Chicken Skillet
In preparation for the biggest game of the entire year I've gathered up a few of my favorite recipes for Super Bowl Sunday! My friends and family are giant fans of my Southwest Chicken Skillet and I thought I would finally share my secret with everyone so here it is! Keep in mind, I'm not a fancy chef just sharing recipes I love!

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup - uncooked white rice
1 cup - salsa
1 can - 15oz. black beans (drained)
1 can - 14.5oz. chicken broth
1 tbsp - chili powder
1 1/2 or 2 cups - pre cooked shredded chicken
1 cup - shredded cheese
Keep in mind, you do not have to use the exact brands in which I use, any brand works.

Directions:
Place pre greased pan on medium heat.
Add the cup of rice, drained can of black beans, one cup of salsa, 1 tbsp. of chili powder and the can of chicken broth into the pan and stir.
Place lid onto the pan and keep heat on medium, bring it to a boil.
Once boiled, stir and place heat on low and let simmer.
Let simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. (if rice is still hard, you can add water or more chicken broth to the pan)
Add shredded chicken.
Turn heat off, stir and add the cheese.
Enjoy!
